July 6, 2025 - Rev. Laurie McKayCommunion Service Humility takes a certain type of courage. I am always impressed by the leaders who connect with their own humanity by listening to others. The Hebrew Scripture tells of a “powerful” king who has leprosy and must humble himself by listening to servants, and even a foreign prophet. Deciding to listen and humble himself, Naaman experiences healing.

July 13, 2025 - Rev. Laurie McKay
The command to love your neighbour is shown in word, intention, and in our actions. The Scripture encourages us that it is not too hard to understand or to do. It is as obvious as our neighbour. The Lord is gently guiding us on the way. No need to complicate things.

Grateful/Thankful/Blessed
A surprise announcement about a potential $40,000 matching gift from an anonymous donor towards our Pave the Way campaign
We truly are so very Grateful, Thankful and Blessed for and by this extremely generous offer from one of our own. This generous act will no doubt have a very positive impact on all of us as together when we respond to this challenge by raising an additional $40,000 beyond current donations in order to receive the matching funds. To our anonymous "pending donor" we say “THANK YOU for caring so deeply about your St. Andrew’s family and for encouraging and motivating all of us to be as generous as we can possibly be."
