Aug 30, 2026 - To Be A BlessingRev. Terry Fach We humans need stories that ground us and give us a sense of purpose. The Bible’s foundational travel narrative is the story of God calling Abraham and blessing him so that he and his family could bless the world. Because of Abraham’s faith, God in Christ is calling us today to be a blessing, to help God heal the world God loves.

From the Parking Project Team
The City contractor arrived unannounced last Monday to reconstruct the driveway entrance from Heritage along with other work on Heritage Drive. After discussion with the site supervisor, the driveway will be formed in two halves to allow continued access to church property. Work is expected to take place over 2-3 weeks. Updates will be provided as we learn further information. Unrelated work along Heritage may cause increased impact as city work progresses between Elbow Drive and Haddon Road. You will still be able to access our parking lot from Heritage Drive using half of the present driveway - just be careful as you turn into or out of the parking lot. The rear lane will remain open during the extent of this work. |

Maintenance Work at the Church
This summer there is MUCH going on in and around our building. The following dates are if everything goes as planned. Information will be provided as needed. We suggest calling the office if you need access to a potentially affected space. Friday August 7 to Saturday August 22 – flat roof will be replaced. There will be dumpsters on site and parts of the parking lot will be blocked off. Access via the back door will be restricted. Tuesday August 25 to Sunday August 30 – flooring is being replaced in the CE wing. Trinity Hall and the CE wing will be affected by this work. |

Mark your calendars for a change in worship services times for Sunday, September 13th: 12:00 noon
September 13th will be an exciting service for ALL of us at St. Andrew’s, whether you are part of our morning (English) or afternoon (Nuer) worshipping congregations. Our youth and their leaders will lead worship as they share their experiences at Collective (youth conference in Ontario) this summer. Mark your calendars for a change for BOTH our morning and afternoon worship services, as we will be having ONE JOINT SERVICE AT 12:00 NOON, followed by a pot luck feast in Trinity Hall. We know the fall is a ‘ways off’, but we wanted to make sure we give lots of notice about the change in time! |
