June 8, 2025 - The Winds of the Spirit Change You!Rev. Laurie McKay and the Rainbow Team On this Pentecost Sunday we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit, representing a time for us all to reflect on spiritual growth and renewal. The month of June is also National Pride month in Canada. Christians often wear red this Sunday to reflect the fire of the Holy Spirit, and during Pride month, communities particularly feature rainbow colours. Join our Rainbow Team in wearing bright and colourful clothes on June 8!

Grateful Thankful Blessed“The child is the beauty of God present in the world, that greatest gift to a family.” — Mother Teresa Mother Teresa could have been speaking about St. Andrew’s faith family! Our children are definitely a great gift to us, and we are indeed blessed by them!! They bring energy, joy, a sense of fun, a fresh look at faith, and honesty. Most Sundays Rev. Laurie shares a ‘Children’s Time’ in the service. But… today we had our second ‘Adult’s Time’, led by the children. The focus of their teaching was ‘Forgiveness’. Special thanks to Adam Stolee who wrote the script, and to all the church school children for their participation. As Lorna introduced their theme, the congregation participated in naming reactions to situations as either ‘how God wants us to react’, or ‘how God does NOT want us to react’. Then the children reenacted the story of Joseph and the colorful coat. Children, may the lessons you taught take root in our hearts as we ALL think about forgiveness, and how we seek to understand and live it out. For more infomation visit:

Indigenous 101 - June 20-21
Why does the church emphasize right relations with Indigenous Peoples? Why is the Presbyterian Church apologizing? We didn't personally harm, so why are we seeking reconciliation?
