A time for fun... A place to hang out with friends (even make new friends!)... And it is Free. We want to provide a welcoming, safe place for 12 to 16 year old students to chill or get things done. This is not a religious program. Activities will include: board games (Dungeons and Dragons has been popular), art, ping pong, homework help, computer games. We call it "make your own adventure." This drop in activity time started in 2023.
To know who our participants are and to ensure their personal security, we ask parents to register their children for the program. The form can be picked up by the participant at their first visit, or obtained by email (see address below). This program will comply with "Leading with Care", the policy and practices for the protection of children and vulnerable people followed within The Presbyterian Church in Canada.
The Edge will happen in the Upper Room at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 703 Heritage Drive SW. Entrance to the building will be by the door off the parking lot behind the building. It's a 9 minute walk from Woodman Jr. High.
