Sep 21, 2025 - Thin PlacesRev. Laurie McKay Thin places are where heaven comes close to earth. Celtic Christians associated the phrase with the infusion of the Divine presence in certain locations. Thin places are everywhere. Jesus becomes our “thin place” and invites us to encounter and embody them - wherever we are.

Grateful, Thankful, BlessedSo long summer, hello fall As we say good-bye to summer and welcome in the fall, churches around the world start to buzz again with activity. Like lots of churches, St. Andrew’s was certainly alive and well over the summer, but lots of things slowed down to allow people to spend their evenings in particular, with family and friends on their back decks or visiting new places and spaces. Now that fall is here we find ourselves once again opening our doors and hearts to welcome back the ‘regular rhythm’ of church life ~ Sunday services, church school, Bible Studies and topical studies, team meetings, groups meeting in our spaces ~ there seems to be something for everyone!!! We are grateful for such a wonderful church building ~ one that welcomes everyone ~ as we seek to Grow Life Together With God in this space. |
