March 8, 2026 - Finding BeautifulRev. Laurie McKay - Lent 3 - Annual Meeting to follow Jesus encounters a woman of Samaria at a well and invites her to participate in God’s abundance. Samaritan! Woman! What? Can such abundance really splash over her - over us? Regardless of our past or present, Jesus offers abundant life NOW to each of us. There is an urgency to experience the beauty and abundance that spills over our contained life. Come and see!

Have a ball in the Foyer!!
You are invited to join the G&G Lent Project - The Ball is in Your Court, as we follow Jesus' commandment to love our neighbours. Choose One special thing you can do over Lent to share God's love with others by caring for people outside your immediate family and outside our church family. You can pick up a ball any Sunday in the foyer, and bring it back April 19 to write down the special thing you did over Lent. We will gather them all together during worship and see how far God's love can spread through us when we love like Jesus. |

Timely support for real families
As we seek God’s presence in our lives during Lent so that we can love and serve others, we might find that our own families need our attention too, so that we can be the best people God would have us be. The YW Calgary Family Resource Network provides just this kind of support, for all parents and active caregivers of children under the age of 18. Programs are free, and range from fun parent-child activities to workshops to rapid-response counselling. Parenting and grandparenting is a sacred responsibility. Learning all we can about how to fulfill these roles well is both a spiritual and a practical goal. |
