April 26, 2026 - Shepherd SundayRev. Laurie McKay - Easter 3 Today is Shepherd Sunday. We ponder what voice calls us forward and into what rut. We consider what it means to be chased by grace for surely goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life. As a flock, we know that we are moving as a community, led by a Good Shepherd.

Grateful, Thankful, Blessed
We are so grateful to have youth in our congregation ~ we know there are many congregations who do not! And we are blessed to have youth who are ENGAGED in the life of St. Andrew’s. From Lauren Nolette, Youth Leader: The youth of St Andrew’s are doing a bottle drive in support of their upcoming trip to Ontario for Collective, the youth conference this August. Please mark your calendars that the bottle drive will be on SATURDAY, MAY 23rd at 3-5pm here in the St Andrew’s PARKING LOT! If you have bottles to bring but will be away on the day of the bottle drive, you can bring them on any Sunday between now and then and give them to Matt Nolette. Matt will store them until the 23rd! Thank you for your continued support and contribution to the faith of our youth! |

Forest-bathing trail opens in Inglewood Offering Mental Health and Wellness Benefits
Calgarians don’t need reminding to enjoy beautiful spring weather. Now we have a different way of doing this - a Forest Bathing Trail at the Bird Sanctuary in Inglewood. While not literal bathing, forest bathing is a chance to “bathe” and be immersed in the forest surroundings. The idea of forest bathing originated in Japan in the 1980s. Now along a one-kilometre loop visitors can experience Calgary’s first forest bathing trail. Designed to support the well-being of Calgary’s residents and visitors alike, the self-guided trail takes users on a sensory exploration of the sanctuary.
