Grateful, Thankful, BlessedPsalm 127 (The Message) says: “Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? “ And indeed they are! On Sunday, May 31 we were blessed by our children as they led ‘Adult time’ and taught us the lesson of Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. How before they actually got to cross, they had to live through… rivers turning to blood, frogs, gnats, flies, sick and dying livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness on the land, death of first born sons. Their re-enactment of the story was so real we were all scratching ourselves, sure that we could feel the gnats and flies!!! Special thanks to Adam Stolee, who wrote and directed the play. Even if you were in the Sanctuary on Sunday, you should go back and rewatch it - you’ll see something new every time. For more infomation visit:

Cookies during Coffee Hour
This Sunday (June 7) our youth and leaders who will be attending COLLECTIVE in Ontario this summer will be hosting their last ‘cookie fundraiser’ in the Karl English Lounge following morning worship. We have 12 youth and 5 leaders from St. Andrew’s attending, and any financial assistance we can provide will be greatly appreciated. Due to increased costs in flights, we are hoping to raise lots of money, so enjoy every cookie crumb, and give as you can! |

ACCESS RESTRICTIONS TO PARKING LOT
As feared and explicitly expressed during preliminary discussions with adjacent developers, heavy traffic through the parking lot and truck staging on church property has become an issue. There are concerns of safety and damage to pavement. Meetings with construction site personnel have been positive and they have issued instructions to their contractors. However, the problem persists. ~ Tom McIntyre |
