Sunday, Apr 23 - ‘to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street’ by Dr. Seuss

Rev. Fiona

The road to Emmaus is a familiar section of Scripture - after Jesus has died and supposedly risen - (there are still some doubters) a couple of his disciples go for a walk - needing a change of scenery perhaps - and they did experience a change, of sorts - a tingly burning sensation as they walked along the road.  Who have you met on the road?  Invited to journey with you?  We all have our path to walk - no one can walk it for you - but they can walk it with you.

We are grateful to Sheri Coutts and her ‘banner squad’ for putting up the Alleluia banners, Lynn Judd for the flower arrangements, the Facilities Team for setting up the crosses on the lawn, and to anyone else who helped us ‘visually’ experience the Easter story.
