Rev. Clay Kuhn

Late night professional wrestling matches pale in comparison to one by a river and another in a garden.  What are you currently wrestling with?  Our faith is strengthened and deepened when we dare to wrestle with God.

Grateful Thankful Blessed

Grateful Thankful Blessed

Continuing on in our ‘behind the scenes’ thank you’s, this week we would like to express our gratitude to:
- Sylvia Shaw and Margaret Bates who did a ‘deep cleaning’ in some of our cupboards at the end of Trinity Hall this past week.  We are blessed to have your helpful hands and hearts!
- Jarrett Hoefling and Eli Deacon for helping move and transport some ‘excess’ furniture from the office and storage area.  We are grateful for your strong arms and willingness to answer our call for help!
- Barb English who has volunteered to send out welcome cards to people who are new to us, letting them know we are glad they are worshipping with our faith family.  We are thankful you heard our ‘call for help’ and responded with a ‘YES’!
- Sheila Kirkland for her encouraging words at the ACM to ALL our volunteers at St. Andrew’s for your dedication, commitment, and tireless work as we reach out to those around us.

Indigenous Friendship Day – September 2024

Indigenous Friendship Day – September 2024

Would you like to know more? Would you like to lend a hand?

In 2019 St Andrew’s organized a Powwow that was well attended by our neighbours. We want to do it again this fall: bigger and better, and in collaboration with the Aboriginal Friendship Centre and the Kingsland Community Association! Now six months away, we are starting to organize the different elements of the day that will include art projects, drumming, circle dance, storytelling, a teepee, food.  Would you like to have a part?
A planning meeting to get some balls rolling will be held TUESDAY, MARCH 19th @ 7:00 PM in the Karl English Lounge.
For more information, contact Brian Hawco or Peter Coutts.
