“Some wish to live within the sound of church and chapel bell. I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell!” ― C.T. Studd

As Christians we seek to follow Jesus Christ's example of serving others. Jesus washed his disciples' feet in order to model how he expected his followers to act. Christians understand that our human condition is transformed when we serve, but also allow ourselves to be served. We take seriously God's mandate for the poor and for those who suffer from any kind of injustice. We serve to feed those who are hungry to give water to the thirsty. We are able to accomplish this through our Food Bank, and programs such as Aboriginal Awareness and A Place to Call Home, along with many more missions of which you are invited to join.
