Immanuel

Matthew and Luke approach the Christmas story from two very different points of view. Matthew wants us to see Jesus as the final outpouring of the same loving-kindness that God has shown his people throughout history. Luke, on the other hand, wants us to see Jesus as God's inauguration of a whole new way of being human.

The miracle of the incarnation is that it is both of these things. God with us explores both the steady trust we have because of who God has always been, and the bold, radical and novel steps he takes to show us that faithfulness.

The incarnation is about these two truths held together: God is with us; and with God, nothing shall be impossible. We hope you'll join us this December.
