June 22, 2025 - Rev. Laurie McKayPicnic outside following worship / baptism of Rylee Vandrasco Scripture tells us that our identity is changed in baptism. We are not confined to labels of male/female, slave/free, Jew/Gentile and the list goes on. What does it mean to be clothed with Christ? Where do we get our identity and where is our allegiance? Today we baptise Rylee Vandrosco and welcome her into the family of Christ as a child of God!

Grateful/Thankful/Blessed
National Indigenous History Month is an opportunity to focus on and celebrate the cultures, stories, achievements and resilience of First Nations, Inuit and Metis people. Marking this day is one way we can uphold the church’s reconciliation commitments to SPEAK and HEAR truth, and to SEEK healing and justice. The most appropriate and best way to learn about Indigenous cultures is to learn from Indigenous people, both within the church and outside it. And on Sunday, along with Presbyterian congregations across Canada, we did just that! |
